Networks/Events

We run many local networks for health and social care voluntary and community groups. The networks give you a chance to get together, exchange information and voice a voluntary sector point of view. They provide a forum for talking to the statutory sector. Click here for more information about our networks or select Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire

We organise events including consultations, training, seminars and workshops. Click here for further information. Click here for information and booking details of forthcoming network meetings and other TCF events.

Publications

We produce a regular monthly newsletter, In Contact, and monthly information sheets. We also produce regular ebulletins. We produce a range of publications including: Spot On a web based directory of services for people with learning difficulties in South Gloucestershire; the Jargon Directory and Find It Out, directory of services for children with additional needs. Click here for further information and to download copies of our newsletters, information sheets and ebulletins.

Representation

Through our networks we organise representatives from voluntary and community sector groups to sit on health and social care joint planning groups. This ensures the voluntary and community sector perspective is heard and gives you the chance to be involved in decision and policy making. Click here for more information on representation through The Care Forum.

ChangeUp

ChangeUp is a government initiative to strengthen the voluntary, community and social enterprise sectors. The Care Forum is a member of the two local ChangeUp consortia covering Bristol and the West of England. Click here for more information on ChangeUp
