Representation
The voluntary and community sector provide a whole range of health and social care services. We want to make sure that your sector's voice is heard in planning and policy-making. We work to make sure that voluntary sector reps are able to attend a whole range of joint planning groups and key partnerships. We organise elections of voluntary sector reps through our Networks. Voluntary sector reps feedback information through the Networks and through our newsletters and ebulletins
All voluntary sector reps have a job description explaining their role and are asked to sign a code of conduct which sets out what they agree to do and how we at The Care Forum will support the. Click here to see code of conduct
Nominations are sought for a voluntary sector representative (rep) on the South Gloucestershire Mental Health LIT. This is a great opportunity to be involved with developing mental health services in South Gloucestershire and to feed back to the South Gloucestershire mental health voluntary sector network. There are two VCS rep places on this. One of them is currently filled by Alan Altoft, Milestones Trust and our other representative, Gill Pickford recently stepped down. We would like to thank Gill Pickford of Second Step for all of her hard work for a number of years as a rep for the sector on the Mental Health LIT.
The deadline for nomination forms is 5pm on Monday 15 May.
