Tyndale Circle Day Centre provides help for those suffering from Dementia and associated conditions by providing a Day Care Centre every Thursday from 9.30am-3.30pm for up to twelve members.  The Green House Bristol is a registered charity providing free, confidential, specialist counselling and support for women, men, children and young people who have experienced sexual trauma including sexual abuse and rape at any point in their lives.  The Stroke Association is the only UK wide charity solely concerned with combating stroke in people of all ages. The Stroke Association funds research into prevention, treatment and better methods of rehabilitation, and helps stroke patients and their families directly through its Life After Stroke Services. These include Information, Advice and Support, Communication Support and Life After Stroke grants.

Time2Share was set up in 1972 to support families with a disabled child. Although more disabled children now attend mainstream schools they may still struggle socially and need support to go out independently.      
The Bridge Foundation for Psychotherapy and the Arts, a registered charity established in 1984, provides a range of psychoanalytic psychotherapy and counselling services. We are a well established Bristol based organisation with a strong commitment to providing accessible, high quality clinical services to a wide range of individuals and families. Alongside our fee paying services, we are committed to delivering accessible free counselling services for parents previously underserved by such services. 
  South West Stroke and Heart (SWASH) has been set up specifically to help you if you have been a victim of stroke or heart attack. This website is an integral part of the help we can offer as it acts as an important communication channel for home based suffers that may have difficulty travelling or communicating with help services in other ways.  Our retirement villages in Bristol and North Somerset offer a range of sheltered accommodation, nursing care homes and dementia care homes designed to promote independence, dignity and fulfilment among our residents.  We offer information, friendship and support to local people with Parkinson's, their families and carers.
We also organise regular events and social activities. Join us - and meet other people affected by Parkinson's in your area.  Support for older people from Bath and surrounding areas with Alzheimer's and other dementia illnesses. Offer up to five days per week day care, lunch is provided, other services available Chiropody, Aromatherapy, Bathing, Hairdressing and a Home sitting service contact Chris Perrin at the Peggy Dodd Centre.   The aim of the group is to provide support and information to individuals with Fibromyalgia and their families and to promote awareness in the local community and among health professionals. Members receive a monthly newsletter about the activities of the group. We have a lending library of books, journals and videos relating to many aspects of Fibromyalgia and how to cope with a chronic pain condition .  Paul’s Place is the only charity specifically supporting adults with any physical and cognitive impairment in the Bristol area - this includes Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset and Bath and North East Somerset.  Paul’s Place began life in 1995 and is for adults aged 18‑59. The day facility is currently based at Coalpit Heath Cricket Club, Serridge Lane, Coalpit Heath from Monday to Friday (10.00 am to 4.00 pm).  The day facility runs for 48 weeks a year.     Based in the South Ward of Weston-super-Mare, The For All Healthy Living Company (FAHLC), runs the Healthy Living Centre, manages the GP practice and is commissioned or grant aided to run other services and projects. We promote and work in partnership with local people and agencies in order to increase access and ensure local residents are key partners in the design and delivery of local services.  As a registered charity, our aim is to improve outcomes for children and young people by providing training, information, consultancy and support for those working with and/or caring for them. Our work broadly encompasses workforce development and enhancing opportunities for employment, further education and the promotion of social welfare and recreation for all families.  The South Gloucestershire Disability Action Group is a voluntary group and was formerly known as The Kingswood Council For Disabled People which was set up in 1981.
The South Gloucestershire Disability Action Group offers: free membership, support group, stronger collective voice, bi-monthly meetings, newsletter and flyer, information, interesting speakers. Issues raised in the past include: health, highways, access, transport, disabled parking bays, supermarket mobility  Scope works with disabled people, of all ages, and their families, across England and Wales. We offer practical, everyday support and deliver campaigns that can change lives. Our vision is a world where disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else.   Soundwell is a community-based music therapy service working in the field of adult mental health. Our aim is for people to experience an improved quality of life and get their confidence back - music therapy can be especially helpful if you’re experiencing difficulties in relating to others.   Self Help Housing Association is a non profit organisation providing supported housing for homeless client groups. People stay in our accommodation for between 6 months and two years and during this time, we work in partnership to prevent any return to homelessness and ultimately to access a permanent home.   Relate's vision is a future in which healthy relationships form the heart of a thriving society.

  We are a vibrant, ongoing organisation whose aim in life is to improve the lot of senior citizens in the South Gloucestershire Area. We enjoy strong support from local Councils and MPs of all major political parties, although, of course, we are strictly non-political.   We provide specialist Welfare Benefits advice including income, Disability and Housing Benefits. We provide representation for Social Security Benefit Tribunals. We provide specialist Debt advice. We work out a plan for dealing with your debts and help negotiate affordable payments to your creditors. We help you get back in control of you money and budget for the future. We may refer you to another organisation should we not be able to assist with your problem.  Our job is to make Bristol safer for all citizens and visitors. As a partnership, we are responsible for co-ordinating actions which will tackle the adverse effects of crime and drugs on communities.  Supportive Parents is a charity providing information and support to families of children with any type of special educational need (SEN) from 0-19 years in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.  Shelter advisers are the experts in housing law. Our face to face services can advise you if you are eligible for legal aid. Use the Legal aid calculator to check whether you qualify.  As one of the longest-established community foundations in the UK, we have the expertise and local knowledge to help donors support the local causes and charities they care about and make an impact through their giving.  Pact is a charity which supports people affected by imprisonment. We provide practical and emotional support to prisoners' children and families, and to prisoners themselves.    Support for women and chldren experiencing domestic violence and abuse.  Survive has a range of services to support women and can come to meet you somewhere safe. 
Many women and their children leave violent and abusive relationships and build new lives.  St John's Hospital is a registered charity providing Almshouse accommodation, community grants and individual financial support to deprived people in Bath. The historic charitable trust is as old as Bath itself.  Founded in 1174, it has served the community for over 800 years. Today, its vision is to provide an improved quality of life, through housing and support for older people, and through grant making, for others who are disadvantaged in some way.
  Second Step is the leading provider of recovery-orientated support services and good quality housing to more than 550 people between 16 and 65 with mental health and other related support needs across Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire and Bath & North East Somerset (B&NES).   St Peter’s Hospice is Bristol’s only adult hospice caring for local people with life-limiting illnesses. Our commitment is to improve the quality of life of patients while extending care and support to their families and loved ones.  Working together for better lives

  SWAN Advice Network administer the Bath and DIstrict Deposit Bond Scheme. It is available to assist people on low incomes who are looking for property to rent in Bath and North East Somerset. The scheme acts as guarantor for the security deposit amount required by the landlord.
