Well Aware

If you would like to do more desk-based admin work then you might want to volunteer for our Well Aware Service.

There are three roles you could get involved with for Well Aware, these are:

  1. 1.    Well Aware Database Volunteer

This involves working through sections of the Well Aware database to ensure that it is update and accurate and where necessary make changes. You also get the chance to identify services that can be added to the database.

  1. 2.    Well Aware Ambassador Volunteer

This role involves spreading the word about Well Aware.  You might be attending meetings on behalf of The Care Forum promoting the potential benefits of Well Aware, or helping boost people’s confidence in using Well Aware.

  1. 3.    Well Aware Research Volunteer

In this role you have the opportunity to undertake a wide range of research.  You might want to undertake case studies of Well Aware users to discover what their needs are around the database.  You might want to through existing data generated by Well Aware to research patters of usage.

If are a little uncertain about volunteering, please still get in contact with our volunteer coordinator who will be able to discuss with you any concerns you have and further explain the volunteering roles.
