New Routes
New Routes are currently looking for Community Supporter and Befriender Volunteers in Keynsham.
Community Support Volunteers will work with New Routes Coordinators to encourage socially isolated individuals who live in Keynsham, to become integrated into the community. As a Support Volunteer you will accompany people to planned activities or meet them at a variety of places through the Keynsham, Bath and Bristol area. As a befriender, you will meet someone on a regular basis to provide 1 on 1 social contact, support and friendship.
With both these roles you’ll be helping to enhance a person’s self esteem and general well being, develop their skills and reduce their feelings of isolation. If you live in Keynsham and can spend a few hours each week to get involved in your local community, we would love to hear from you!
