Award Success for TCF

TCF are proud to announce that the Self Care Forum has named our Well Aware project as its overall winner of the 2023 Self Care Innovation Awards.

Dr Pete Smith (Self Care President) said:

“The impact of Well Aware on people’s health outcomes and in addressing health inequalities in Bristol and South Gloucestershire is truly impressive.  It is a valuable resource for the public, for carers and relatives and for health and social care professionals.  Well Aware also supports people who are digitally excluded, whilst the service is also accessible to marginalised and minority groups”.

The Self Care Innovation Awards were created to recognised the inspiring initiatives taking place across organisations and communities in the UK; to showcase the outstanding work that makes a difference to people’s every day lives. The Self Care Forum work tirelessly to further the reach of self-care and embed it into everyday life. We are honoured that they have recognised TCF contribution to self-care innovation.
