Bristol impact fund update

The application window is currently open, and the deadline for applications is midday 17th May 2021.

To support the development of your application we have organised some additional support including:

  • Information Session on how to apply for Bristol Impact Fund – Growing the power of the communities
  • An introduction to Asset Based Community Development Workshop
  • Ongoing support and training programme from Voscur

Due to demand we have organised an extra workshop on introducing Asset Based Community development.

The new round of the Bristol Impact Fund uses an Asset Based Community Development approach. To find out more about Asset Based Community Development  you can attend a workshops that we have organised with Cormac Russel from Nurture Development. The workshops  introduce participants to Asset Based Community Development and explores how VCSE’s can support more resident-led action.

This two hour course will explore the barriers and dilemmas in supporting residents to be in control and using the principles and practices of Asset-Based Community Development co-create with participants practical pathways towards more collective citizen-led change and power. The workshops will be interactive and practical.”

Voscur are delivering a whole programme of support  (by telephone or over Zoom), and which includes

  • One to one advice surgeries
  • online briefings
  • training courses on topics matched to the Bristol City Council baseline standards for funding
  • collaboration support
  • mailing list for programme updates.

Please note due to expected levels of demand the levels of support that organisations can access is tailored.
