Carers Support Officer as part of the Adult Carers Support Team

Hours – 37.5 hours per week
Salary – £26,040 per annum FTE

Are you self-motivated, organised, empathetic, able to work independently and think on your feet, then you might want to consider joining a small team of like-minded people.

Our charity, Carers Support, works across Bristol and S. Glos to support unpaid carers who are caring for someone that could not manage without them.

We currently have a vacancy to join our Adult Support Team who provide the core services to carers. You will be directly supporting unpaid in Bristol. We are a busy and supportive team who are always trying to find solutions and resources and ways to help unpaid carers.

Main duties would include:

To:

• Complete carers assessments with carers

• Provide support and interventions as appropriate, refer and signpost where necessary

• Facilitate Carers Groups

Take part in the CarersLine advice, support and information service

• Attend meetings and forums, present CS services, promote the service
