Marmalade Trust invite isolated people in Bristol to Christmas lunch in 2017

The Marmalade Trust organise Christmas Day lunches in restaurants around Bristol and South Glos.

Friendly Marmalade Trust volunteers collect guests from their own home and drive them to one of our restaurants where they enjoy a free meal with their own Marmalade family (up to 20 people per venue). Each guest is then returned safely home afterwards.

The referral criteria is as follows:

– The person would otherwise be alone on Christmas Day
– Their health and well-being is affected by loneliness
– Over 18 years of age – we predominately support people over 65 years
