New Telephone Check in and Chat Service

The West of England Centre for Inclusive Living (WECIL) is launching a new Telephone Check in and Chat Service disabled adults, those who are shielding and have long term health conditions .

WECIL Telefriend volunteers will make weekly calls, of around 20 minutes, to a member of our community for a period of six weeks. Speaking to the same person each week, the Telefriend volunteer will make friendly conversation, lend a supportive ear and signpost to services.
