Proposed changes to South West sexual assault support services

Healthwatch would like to draw your attention to a discussion about how sexual assault referral centres (SARCs) work. A team made up of representatives from organisations like the police, NHS and clinical staff is currently thinking about whether SARCs could work better in future, and they want to hear your views. They are asking for your views by mid-August, before they award the contracts for the services in the autumn.

A presentation showing what is being suggested and why they think these changes make sense can be viewed here: https://vimeo.com/222709565. There is a printed version for those who can’t view the video – please use the contact details below to get a copy.
