Quartet Community Foundation – Churngold Environment Fund Grant Programme – Now open

What can you apply for?

This grants programme has been established from Churngold Group and Landfill Communities Fund (LCF) funding and can support projects which aim to improve or protect the environment by providing, maintaining or improving public spaces, buildings or amenities for the general public’s benefit, for leisure or recreation.

Who can apply?

Churngold Grants are targeted at small organisations with charitable aims where a small amount of money can make a significant difference. Applicants must be based and working in Bristol, Bath & North East Somerset, North Somerset or South Gloucestershire.

There are no limits to the size of organisation which may apply for a Churngold Grant. However, if an applicant organisation has more than 8 months of its annual expenditure in unrestricted reserves then its application will be considered a lower priority for funding. If your organisation is holding significant financial reserves, you will need to make it clear why these reserves cannot be used to cover the cost of the activity.
