The aim of the study is to see how workload levels and empathy predict stress in occupations that traditionally require higher levels of empathy such as care workers.
Using questionnaires to collect data on each area, the study proposes to analyze any potential relationships between these areas and seek to make improvements and suggestions based on the results from the data collected that could help safeguard a care worker’s own mental health as they contribute to those individuals who require help.
