Share, Talk and Remember: Setting up your own bereavement peer-support group

Are you interested in setting up a bereavement peer-support group in your local area? Do you want to hear from residents in Stockwood about what has worked well for them?

Come along to our free introductory workshop to learn more about why this support is important, and how you can help make it happen in your local area. This workshop is an insight into further training and support, part of which will include a take-away toolkit.

When? Friday 15th May, 10:00 – 12:00.

Where? St James Priory, Whitson Street, Bristol, BS1 3NZ (next to Bristol Bus Station, and near to Broadmead).

Who? This workshop is suitable for anyone interested in setting up a bereavement peer-support group in their local neighbourhood of Bristol, and therefore particularly suitable for Bristol residents or for community workers who can support local residents with this.

To book a place on this workshop please let me know by emailing clairechivers@ageukbristol.org.uk or phoning 0117 928 1539. Places are limited so make sure you get in touch!

If anyone is interested but cannot make this date then please also get in touch as we may be able to hold a second workshop in the future if there is enough demand.
