Consultation: Bristol City Council on Stoke Park – have your say!

Bristol City Council are consulting on a long term plan for Stoke Park, to protect its important historic and ecological features as well as providing opportunities for people to enjoy the parkland. The development of a Conservation Management Plan on which many of the proposals are based has been supported by Historic England.

The consultation will help the council submit bids for funding to avoid using core council budgets including a £3 million bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund. This will be used alongside a Dowry which can only be used to fund work and activities associated with Stoke Park, as well as continuing to work Historic England, the local community, Friends group, and outdoor learning programme to bring the park to life.

The consultation runs until 20th February 2017 at
