Consultation on the A4174 Junction Improvement Scheme

The scheme aims to improve the capacity of some junctions along the A4174 Ring Road by widening sections of road, making extensive changes to the layout of some junctions, and expanding traffic signal control to locations that currently have no traffic lights.

Please share the details of this consultation with any groups or contacts who may be interested in the proposals. We would be happy to provide printed or alternative format copies of the consultation materials on request. Paper copies of the response form are also available at Kingswood One Stop Shop (High Street, Kingswood, Bristol, BS15 9TR).

Details of the proposals for the scheme can be found on our web page at: consultations.southglos.gov.uk/A4174Improvements

Our Virtual Event Space is also available throughout the consultation period (via the link to our web page above) to share details of the scheme, including plans and images of the proposals. The project team will be on hand to answer any questions via the live chat function in the Virtual Event Space on the following dates:

  • Wednesday 23 June 2021 between 8:30 am and 7:00 pm
  • Thursday 1 July 2021 between 8:30 am and 7:00 pm

Due to the uncertainty around Covid-19 restrictions, we would encourage people to visit our Virtual Event Space on the dates above to find out more about the scheme and speak to the project team. However, we understand that some people would still prefer to attend a face-to-face event.

We are therefore planning to hold face-to-face events on the following dates:

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.
