E-conferences in North Somerset and South Gloucestershire

Wednesday 15 July, online

10.30am-12.30pm (South Gloucestershire), 2-4pm (North Somerset)

Dialogue at The Care Forum is holding two e-conference for the VCSE health and social care sector in South Gloucestershire and the VCSE mental health sector in North Somerset. These will be an opportunity to connect with other professionals from the sector, to hear guest speakers, to share knowledge and best practise, and to offer your insight and feedback on how your organisation is being affected by the pandemic so we can improve understanding on how the sector is supporting its communities and service users during this period.

These events will be structured as follows:

– The first half will be conference style, where guest speakers – commissioners, key service providers – will offer some of their time to speak about the issues facing your part of the VCSE sector and offer an opportunity for Q&A.

– The second half will be a research component, taking the form of an informal group discussion. This will involve VCSE sector participants breaking into smaller groups with our facilitators, who will then speak to you in a confidential setting about how your organisation has responded to the epidemic, the challenges you’ve faced, and the way forward for the sector.

The research component of the event will be used to generate insight for the sector, inform strategy and decision-making, and we will share the results sector-wide to help build understanding of some of the issues facing our sector.

You can book on both events at our eventbrite pages here:

Dialogue is also conducting one-to-one interviews to address the same questions. If you are unable or do not wish to attend one of these meetings, but would like your views to be heard, please contact us to set up an interview on E: dialogue@thecareforum.org.uk or T: 0117 965 4444
