Join us as we launch the second in our series of BAB Toolkit publications, this time discussing what can be done to make your neighbourhood more age-friendly. The toolkit provides an easy-to-understand explanation of the age-friendly model, alongside practical ideas for how you can identify and tackle aspects of community life that are challenging for older people. Also included are personal stories of seven inspiring community activists who are making waves in their neighbourhoods.

The launch event will be a chance to meet other budding change-makers, as well as the community activists featured in the guide. You’ll get a free copy of the toolkit itself, as well as the chance to ask any questions you have about how BAB is supporting the long-term age-friendly strategy for Bristol. Refreshments will be provided.
