Bristol Disability Equality Forum – Rowan Jade Award Nominations 2017

It’s that time of year again when Bristol Disability Equality Forum (BDEF) are planning their Annual General Meeting (AGM.) Each year at the AGM they also announce the Rowen Jade Award, so the Forum is asking for members for nominations for the award.

This is awarded annually to a Disabled person who lives in or near Bristol who has campaigned for the rights of Disabled people, or who has, by example, shown how Disabled people can play an active part in society.

Rowen died In September 2010.  She was a Disabled woman who worked tirelessly with and for Disabled people both nationally and here in Bristol, and was a trustee of the Forum.

If you would like to nominate someone for the Award, please contact us: by e-mail at bristoldef@gmail.com or by phone at: 0117 914 0528.
