The Sims Hill Community Food Centre is a project aimed at people who are struggling to afford fresh produce and vegetables. We offer an alternative approach to food aid by bringing people together once a week to volunteer on a working farm and to cook a meal together with farm grown produce.
The group meets every Thursday at 9:30am to help on the Sims Hill farm at Feed Bristol in Frenchay. We spend the morning farming and the afternoon preparing lunch to share. The group members have access to a free veg bag from by Sims Hill growers for nine weeks and will receive
£45 of vouchers for the Real Economy Coop, as well as a free lunch at the site. The Real Economy Coop sources good quality, local and organic food from local producers and delivers to food clubs around Bristol.
