‘It feels like only yesterday the access guide to Bristol had launched for 1,000 venues across Bristol which includes shops, leisure centres, libraries, parks, museums, restaurants and many more. The access guide has been live since 27th Jan 2016 and has been very successful.
As mentioned at the engagement events last year that we do update the access guide annually, which involves calling each venue and going through their access information to check that it is correct and up to date.
Another part of that annual review is to ensure DisabledGo engages with local groups, organisations, businesses and disabled people to ensure you get a say in the access guide which means that you get to chose venues to add to the existing 1,000.
We are keen to update you on the work DisabledGo has been doing behind the scenes since launching and how the access guide to Bristol has been successful.
