An event for older people will be held on Thursday 15 March 2018, 10:00am to 3:00pm at Lifeskills, the Create Centre Smeaton Road, BS1 6XN. This will be an opportunity to get as many relevant organisations as possible together in the one venue, to give older people the chance to interact with stall holders and get advice to help in maintaining their independence and staying healthy and active.
We are planning to provide information and advice on falls prevention, personal safety, scams, healthy eating, staying active, dementia, safety at home and much more. Our partner organisations including Fire Service and Police will be present.
