Free Macmillan Wellbeing Day for the over 55’s

LinkAge’s Macmillan Prevention and Re-enablement project is hosting a free Wellbeing day for people affected by cancer on Wednesday 8th March at Burges Salmon, 1 Glass Wharf, (close to Temple Meads station, and bus stops).

The Wellbeing day titled ‘Discover a new you’ will be offering those (aged 55+) living with and beyond cancer, and their carers/ supporters, the opportunity to try a variety of fun, creative and physical LinkAge activities. There will be a free healthy lunch, talks and activities including tai chi, ping pong, ballroom dancing, chair based exercise, relaxation techniques, and arts and crafts.

The day will also host a market place of stall holders and speakers sharing relevant information for those living with and beyond cancer.

The Wellbeing day will run from 11am – 2pm. Attendance to the wellbeing day is free, but booking is required.
