Introducing the Bristol Sight Loss Council

Are you interested in improving the lives of blind and partially sighted people in Bristol?

We are launching the Bristol Sight Loss Council following the success of other Sight Loss Council across the country.

What is a Sight Loss Council?

Sight Loss Councils are made up of volunteers who themselves are blind or partially sighted. Members work to tackle local issues, working with public, private and voluntary organisations to improve and support their services and make them more accessible.

We believe blind and partially sighted people are best suited to work with organisations to enable them to better understand the needs  and improve the lives of people with sight loss.
