Southern Brooks Community Partnerships have 3 new groups starting.
Telephone Connect Café is a group for people living with Dementia and/or their carers. It provides an opportunity for social interaction through conversation and activities.
‘This is me’ is a group for people who have recently been diagnosed with Dementia. There is often feelings/thoughts of loss and grief following a diagnosis. The group is aimed at providing a space to share and listen to others who are on the same journey. By exploring the stages of grief and how that relates to you on a personal level.
‘Talking Together’ is for people who have experienced loss associated with Dementia. Either through death or from a loved one entering full-time supported care.
