Struggling to pay your energy bills?

The Bristol Disability Equality Forum has worked with Bristol Energy Network (BEN) and a number of other organisations, to create a pot of money to be able to support Disabled people (and others) who cannot afford to pay their energy bills as well as other essentials, such as food.

BEN did all the hard work of getting the donations in and other organisations are now giving it to those people who are most in need, in their part of the city.  The role of the forum is to ensure it gets to Disabled people as well.

If that sounds like you, telephone and leave a voicemail message on 0117 914 0528, or email bristoldef@gmail.com , giving them your contact details and they will get back to you.

There is no shame in being one of the people who are excluded from financial security so don’t feel embarrassed about needing help.  They will do all they can to respect and protect your dignity.

No-one should be without heating, hot water, the energy needed to cook a hot meal etc so, if you are struggling, contact them now.
