South Gloucestershire: Personal Health Budgets study session

Personal Health Budgets: study session

Wednesday 18 January 2017, 9.30am – 12.30pm in Room C1, Corum 1 office park, Crown Way, Warmley, Bristol, BS30 8FJ

South Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group is offering a study session for staff to learn more about Personal Health Budgets (PHBs), including how they work, how they benefit people, and ultimately how PHBs will become business as usual for the NHS, providers and patients.

The voluntary sector has a key part to play in providing advice and support to individuals and their families/ carers on issues involving PHBs, with some being asked to act as a third party budget holders. This is a great opportunity for staff from voluntary sector organisations to understand their potential role around PHBs and ask some of those burning questions.

There are 12 places available, which will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Please try to limit numbers attending from your organisation so that more voluntary sector organisations are able to benefit from this session.
