The NHS in Swindon is changing, and it needs your help

The Government is investing an extra £20bn a year in the NHS until 2023. Now it’s your chance to have your say on how money should be spent on services in Swindon.

Healthwatch Swindon has joined forces with Healthwatch Wiltshire and Healthwatch Bath and North East Somerset to launch What Would You Do? which will gather feedback from the public on ways to improve NHS services in your community.

We want to know how you think the NHS can help people live healthier lives, what would make local services better, and how care for people with long term conditions could be improved.

Take part in the general survey here and share your views today.

We are particularly keen to hear your views on how services could be improved for older people and how you think GP surgeries can work more closely with other services, such as hospitals, pharmacies, mental health and social care, to improve care for people with long term conditions.

You can also tell us more about your views on living with a long term condition. If you have experience of cancer, heart and lung diseases, mental health, dementia, learning disability, autism, or a long term condition, please go to the condition specific survey here.

We’ll also be out and about across Swindon, so please come and chat to us if you see us. We’ll be updating our website and social media with details of the events where you can speak to us.

What Would You Do? sees local Healthwatch across England asking people for their views and ideas to improve the NHS for the future.
