Grandmother’s Footsteps – Making a plaster hand cast

A creative project in Knowle for grandmothers and grandchildren will be taking place this September/ October.

‘Grandmother’s Footsteps’ is funded by Arts Council England and Bristol City Council and is designed to support the unique relationship between grandmothers and their grandchildren by encouraging them to work creatively together.  There will be 1 stand alone workshop on 18th Sept (to introduce people to the project and for them to make a plaster cast) There will then be a series of 4 workshops after that where memories and stories can be shared and made into a collage, family tree, patchwork or handmade book.  This process will be fully guided- no creative experience necessary.

The project will run after school on Mondays at Knowle West Childrens Centre
