NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (BNSSG CCG) is planning how to offer community health services in future. These are all the services in between ‘primary care’ (general practice) and hospital.
The services offered in the community aim to help people stay well and out of hospital. They include nurses that visit people at home, speech and language therapy, physiotherapy and many others. Community services across BNSSG are currently being reviewed, before they are put out to tender next year.
